“I convinced my mom to start strength training at 52. Eight months later she’d lost about 10 lbs and had far more energy.”
Born in Russia, Daria grew up with movement as part of everyday life — dance, sport acrobatics, and later competitive pole sport. She went on to found her own pole dance and fitness studio for women in Phuket, Thailand.
After years of cardio and flexibility work, she realized strength was the missing piece. Through CrossFit and powerlifting she discovered functional strength training, and it became her focus.
Over the last several years she has worked closely with women in their 40s–60s and seen the same pattern: muscle loss, slower metabolism, and the need for training that protects bones and respects real-life aches and limitations.
Her approach is simple: start smart, progress gradually, and build strength your body can trust — with mobility alongside so you move well as you get stronger.
